You are a busy, midlife, multi-tasking woman - but you feel exhausted, unfit and… just not your old self. You know what you should do, but you’re just too busy to get those healthy habits nailed down.

  • You don’t want to be one of those annoying health obsessives! Would your friends would be horrified if you turned down wine at dinner? Wouldn’t you become so boring no one would want to hang out? (By the way the answer is NO!)

I know how ALL of this feels! I hear the same worries and fears and concerns from all my friends and clients! We are ALL feeling the same. (Even the ones who look like they’ve got all their shit together!)

It’s why I became a personal trainer in 2017. I noticed a pattern: too many female friends were struggling, and needed help to get their bodies and minds stronger and fitter. The 21 year old male fitness trainer at the local gym just wasn’t going to get it!

Since then I have qualified as a mat pilates teacher (2019), studied female health and fitness programmes (Restore your Core Method, 3rd Age Woman), and qualified as a MindBodyGreen Health Coach (May 2023).

I love my job! Every day I help midlife women take action to lead healthy, happy lives, today and tomorrow.

Yes, but you worry you can’t do it alone… you aren’t ‘motivated’, you don’t ‘trust yourself’.

I know that change is daunting and self doubt is powerful. But TOGETHER we can conquer the fear, find the WHY, make a plan and get started.

How does it work?

I have created a 12 week programme in which we will:

  • Take a look at where you are now: what’s working, what’s not, what are you current habits? How do you feel? How do you want to feel? How have you got to where you are now?

  • Take a ‘3D focus’ on a healthier lifestyle: not just exercise and what to eat but also how you manage stress, sleep and choose a positive attitude to life.

  • Explore what motivates you: not what you think you ‘should’ do, but what do you WANT to do, and WHY? Let’s get really honest about your WHY.

  • Together identify focus areas: where to start. What are the quick and easy changes that you feel ready to make? What are the bigger challenges that you want to start to address but maybe don’t know how.

  • Start setting goals, SMART goals: ones that are realistic, you know how to achieve, you have the resources and tools you need, and have a deadline.

  • Gather the resources you need: from meal planners and recipes to workouts and mindfulness tools.

  • Put in place your ‘accountability’ tools: reminders, alerts, check ins, whatever works for you to feel accountable for making good decisions.

  • Identify weaknesses, triggers, difficult areas for you. How can you avoid these, or learn how to resist those temptations that have got you off track before?

  • Learn from our difficulties and mistakes! It’s not going to be perfect and that’s not our goal. We want to find ways that work, not keep banging our head against the same wall. So we will be honest, realistic and creative until we find ways that work for you.

We can do all this online - at times that suit you and work around your busy schedule!

Within the proposed 12 week schedule we will meet online 6 times for one hour slots. If you can’t make it work one week, we can just do it the following week.

However, weight loss is a complex challenge, particularly in mid life, and happens differently for all bodies.

  • No. This is not a ‘diet’. This is about YOU deciding how you want to feel, and discovering eating patterns and habits that help you get to where you want to be, and feel how you want to feel. I will share food guidelines, ideas and recipes with you, for you to try and adapt in line with your preferences and lifestyle.

  • When you sign up to the 1:1 Health Coaching Programme you will receive 2 months of TRIBE membership for free (normally £48/month).
